The House of National Communities started its activity in 1991 and is a non-profit seeking organization, uniting people of different nationalities and representative organizations in Lithuania.
The House of National Communities aims to revive national community customs, traditions, language, religion and way of life, strengthen democratic and open civil society. In order to help preserve Lithuanian ethnic minority cultural and ethnic identity and integrate it into the country’s public life, The House of National Communities works in the fields of culture, education and science.
The House of National Communities spreads information about the history, customs and traditions of national communities in Lithuania. It also carries projects aimed to promote their integration into the country’s socio-economic life.
